DON BOSCO SCHOOL – Baithalangso, is a minority Christian Educational Institution established and administered by the Salesians of Don Bosco, an order of religious men who are member of the Catholic Church.
This Institution is primarily for academic education and human development of economically backward Christian tribal youth of Karbi Anglong. It is however open to others irrespective of religion or community, depending on the availability of seats.
All Christian students must produce baptism & character certificates along with a letter from the parish priest/pastor stating facts about the student’s and the family’s active participation in religious and community services.
THE MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION: The medium of instruction and communication is English. Hence only English will be used in the school campus.
AGE RESTRICTIONS: For an admission to class-1 a child should have completed five years of age on 1st March of the year of admission.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: For admission of a child the following documents are to be submitted along with the application form. a) Baptism & character certificates, letter from the Parish Priest/Pastor (only for Christian students) b) Birth Certificate c) Caste Certificate d) Report Cart / Marks sheet of last examination passed (for classes II and above) e) Transfer Certificate f) Four recent 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm photographs
Co-curricular activities: Debates, dramatics, sports and other co-curricular activities are arranged in the school during the year. Participation in these activities is compulsory for all students.
