The Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB) numbering 17,575 are Don Bosco’s spiritual sons. There are also another 73,000 members in the Salesian family who continue to keep alive the ideals he cherished by bringing hope and succour to the ideals he cherished by bringing hope and succor to the lives of the young and lead them towards horizons for beyond their reach through a global network of educational and social service organisations which include 14 universitites, 58 institutions of higher education and thousands of schoois, technical institutes youth centres and socio-economic development agenicies.
